On-Site VFX Supervision: A Dragon in a Medieval Village for TD Direct Investing
I had the opportunity to serve as the on-set visual effects supervisor for a major commercial shoot in Belgrade, Serbia. The project featured an eclectic mix of rockets, airplanes, medieval soldiers, a large stadium and dragons!—each with its unique set of challenges. Despite being hit with a rainstorm on multiple days, which required extensive environmental recreation in post(some planned for, others by necessity), the collaboration with the production team and Directors were seamless. Scanning sets and gathering references were as always crucial for ensuring the post-production process would run smoothly. Belgrade’s diverse locations provided the perfect backdrop, allowing us to bring the director’s ambitious vision to life.
